“We are proud to have a leadership team that is highly skilled, incredibly smart, and represents the many sectors of the growing and vibrant U.S. hemp industry,” said Jonathan Miller, the Roundtable’s General Counsel. “We are especially proud that our officer slate also represents the diversity of the industry and the country: Half of our officers are women, and half are people of color or members of the LGBTQ community. As an organization dedicated to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, it’s important for our leadership team to model our mission.”
The announcement comes on the heels of the organization’s recent launch of RegulateCBDNow.com, an online advocacy site to encourage passage of hemp-friendly bills in Congress.
