SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Hemp supporters from across the country are taking to the links and gathering together to honor cannabis trailblazer Jack Herer’s illustrious legacy at the Foundation’s Inaugural Dinner and Golf Tournament on Friday, October 4, at the Sand Canyon Country Club in Santa Clarita, CA. The Jack Herer Foundation unites the medicinal marijuana and hemp industries to educate the public further and raise awareness about the powerful benefits and uses of cannabis.
The primary goal of the Jack Herer Foundation is to re-introduce the history of hemp by creating a Mobile Education Center and by building the Jack Herer National Hemp Museum. The museum will focus on educating communities nationwide about the renewable agricultural resource and its power to be made into paper, textiles, fuel, nutrition, medicines, building materials, and plastic alternatives.
“Revered as the founding father of the modern-day hemp movement, Jack Herer’s spirit and legacy must continue. That’s why the Colorado Hemp Company and the NoCo Hemp Expo are proud to honor the Foundation and gather with the community at this event,” says Morris Beegle, Founder, Colorado Hemp Company and Producer of the NoCo Hemp Expo and Southern Hemp Expo. “Jack Herer’s longstanding commitment to ending the prohibition of cannabis has given us the tools and the resources to build new industries and help educate the world about the possibilities of this powerful plant.”
