(“BetterLife” or the “Company”) (CSE: BETR / OTCQB: PVOTF / FRA: NPAT) today announced the acquisition of Swiss based Solmic AG with its strong IP portfolio including unique formulation technology for the production of stable micelles containing water insoluble compounds such as CBD. Solmic AG’s unique micelle production technology has been shown to greatly enhance the bioavailability of fat soluble ingredients by as much as 15 times. This technology allows for accelerated uptake of cannabinoids in the human digestive tract. A unique Solmic micelle 1% CBD formulation is currently sold in the European market. BetterLife has initiated plans to leverage the ownership of these newly acquired patents into revenue generation through the newly founded Pivot Europe Pharmaceuticals AG based in Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
